Hello my reef lodge family,

how are you all?? just thought i would send you a email just to say thanks for all the months that I lived at your hostel, its by far the best place in Oz that i ever stayed, I am currently living in Perth now with my family which is nice, me and sarah managed to catch up with german marc for a few days which was good to see him again, i have managed to get myself a full time job now which feels wierd as I have to get outta bed everyday haha but I am heading back to the UK in the next few weeks as Sarah had to go back due to her visa running out

but we plan on sorting a visa out for her through my Permanent Residency Visa so that will be good if we can sort that out...I have a few friends coming out at the start of 2011 so expect to see a trio of lads making a pitstop at your place (there all well behaved i promise), well i best be off as my mum is cooking me dinner yum yum, thanks again for everything, especially the xmas feast and the kitchen job which helped me loads, i will always remember that and have great memories from my time at reef lodge, it would be great to hear back from you all.

The nicest hostel we stayed in on the East Coast. We'd the best nights sleep in this clean, quiet and friendly place.

I'd highly recommend it.

stayed here for 4 months while working in townsvile, lots of great people. had a lot of fun. probly one of the best hostels i have stayed in in aussie land.
look out for kat the lovely cleaner. and the crazy aussie man dugie!

It`s in my opinion the best Hostel in Australia!

Dean and Simone are so friendly people.The tropical feel to it is outstanding,absolutely clean and great atmosphere.

Loved every minute there!

I've stayed in Backpackers all around the world and I rate this one as one of the best . Extremely clean rooms and great facilities . The whole atmosphere of the place gives that welcoming home away from home feel . I highly reccommend Reef Lodge to any traveller
